WRAPPING UP WINTER 24/25

As I write this, I am just about to finish my last travel retreat for winter 24/25 and what a journey it’s been! When I first thought about compiling these trips, it was really in response to all the enquires I received about curating itineraries. It got me thinking, that maybe I could bring people to the beloved country of India and show them the more creative craft and design side and so Lisa Taylor Travel as a concept was born.

What has unfolded in reality, is something way more powerful than just a trip looking at palaces and beautiful stores. It’s been more of an experience of women joining me on a personal development journey. My trips are not exclusive to women (I have had two men join so far!) but I most certainly attract ladies of a certain age, who want a life change and yearn to travel to India, but lack the confidence to do it alone. I provide a safe landing for people coming into India, and with my 30 years of design and travel experience, I can show them the absolute best of what there is to see here. I naturally edit and curate what I feel will ‘talk’ to my client base and take out all the formulaic stuff that appears often on generic travel itineraries to this amazing country.

My USP is people, connection, communication, and allowing each client’s story to unfold whilst we travel together. These women arrive as strangers and leave as friends – how incredible? It really makes my heart sing to know I am a key catalyst on their personal journey. Some ladies come to get something go; whether it be fear, anxiety, grief and others come to explore new projects, get inspired to pivot and change direction mid-life - the list is really endless!

Here are some quotes from my most recent guests:

“I am just sat drinking my coffee and I’m thinking about all you lovely ladies and how just over 24 hours ago, we were immersed together in another world. It was such a pleasure to spend time in India with you all. Isn’t it amazing how eight ladies with such different lives can come together and within hours have formed a special camaraderie! Sharing it with you all made a wonderful trip even more special. Thank you Lisa & Shruti for providing such a rich and varied itinerary, making it run so smoothly and seamlessly and for your professionalism at all times.” Victoria Hughes

"Ladies, it is really hard to put into words how magical and life changing our trip has been for me. So beautifully put together by Lisa, but more than anything it was meeting you all and sharing our lives... ups and downs! Before I left for the trip, I was nervous about meeting people I didn’t know. Every single one of you made it so special. Thank you!" Lisa Hayes

"It was quite a build up to the trip in the end, but as soon as I met you in Delhi, all my fears and anxiousness melted away. Thank you all for making a wonderfully curated trip special. It's been an absolute pleasure to share a trip of a lifetime with you. I’m awake super early this morning, of course, and still trying to process it all. All I can say is WOW." Sam Sampson

There really is no better PR than from those who have experienced the trip before, and I’m so grateful for these lovely reviews. Our new itineraries for 25/26 are now live, so please feel free to check them out. If you’re ready to join me on a journey, then please get in touch to find out more.
