Back To India

As October comes to an end, I am happy to say that I am now back in India, and will be here hosting my Taylor Made Travel tours for the next six months. It's been a while, but as I write this, I am in a car heading to Pushkar and Jodphur to research some new product ideas and visit some potential new places for my lovely clients to visit in 2025.

I'm sure some of you must feel the same, but this year seems to have just evaporated. My time back in Deal in the UK whizzed by so quickly, with hardly any time to even hit the beach! The transition has had its challenges too; being a gypsy is great, but not having a permanent base means you are always roaming and you never have any of your own things around you. Saying this, I still think it's incredibly liberating to de-clutter your life and live a lot more 'lightly'.

This season, I am focused on researching newness; from a product perspective and from a travel perspective. I have loved using recycled saris and kantha fabrics to create the beautiful bespoke LT collection you know and love, but honestly, I feel these fabrics are everywhere now and a lot of small brands are out there are doing their own versions. Therefore, it's time to add more newness for 2025 - we'll still be bringing you a couple of favourite styles like the Leigh Kaftan and Madison Kimono, but we'll have some new ideas to inspire you as well...

On November 4th, my new group arrives and I kick off the new season. I've got two more trips in February back to back, and then a final trip in March. There is still availability for the March trip if you want to immerse yourself into the wonderful country of India! All our other trips are fully booked.

It feels like our tours attract people who want to get creative again; maybe you're starting a new business or are just going through the process of reinventing yourself. Travel really allows this process to happen, as you are our of your regular routine and your mind is clearer to think and dream about how you want your future to look. Travelling with new people is great too, as you have the opportunity to bounce ideas off each other and exchange stories.

If you are travelling with me this season, I'm excited to let you know that you'll be invited to a very exclusive LT pop-up shop. On this evening, I'll tell the story of my business and offer a special discount for you to shop any pieces, plus we'll also enjoy some drinks and tasty Indian snacks! Lots of people asked for this and so I'm very excited to launch this with our next group.

For now, keep your eyes peeled on our socials to see behind the scenes of our trips, and everything we get up to! If you are interested in joining us in March, then please email me at lisa@lisa-taylor.co.uk.
